JOEL GIORGIO
I created Greenbelt DJ Productions back in 2012. Erik joined me in 2013, and Anthony joined me in 2014. I love Austin, which is why I named our company after the Barton Creek Greenbelt. I moved here to attend the University of Texas and made this unique city my permanent home after graduating. I would go to the Greenbelt a few days a week. Soon after moving here for college, I became very interested in the techniques downtown DJs used to mix live on turntables. However, studying journalism and graduating from UT was my primary focus at the time. I was lucky enough to get a job in the newsroom at the Austin American Statesman during my senior year of college. For the next five years, I taught school for Austin ISD while working on a masters degree in education. I’ve been a full time, professional DJ since 2007, and I never looked back. I’m one of the most experienced DJs in Austin and rarely run into a crowd that I can’t get on the dance floor. Hobbies? My favorite hobby is scuba diving. ANTHONY CONFORTI
I’ve been fortunate enough to call Austin my home for nearly two decades, and have been a professional DJ for just as long. With my amazing wife and two beautiful daughters, we enjoy all the city has to offer. I attended the University of Texas where I earned a Bachelor of Architecture Degree, but music is my passion. Music has always been a part of my life. I started playing piano at the age of five (but never practiced), and took up the drums in high school. While attending the University of Texas, I began DJing at the clubs on 6th Street as well as private parties. Variety and open-format is my forte. I keep the party going with music that matches your atmosphere and your vision. As an Austin wedding DJ, I keep up with the latest tracks, but still know when to throw in a classic hit to keep you and your guests on the dance floor. I believe that the role of an Austin wedding DJ is more than just playing music, I believe that attention to detail and proper planning are also very important elements to a successful event.
ERIK KLIMEK
Erik Klimek has been with Greenbelt DJ since 2013, and aside from being one of Austin’s best private event DJs, he is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. Plus, he only gets 5-star reviews. Erik already has more than 400 weddings under his belt during his tenure with Greenbelt. Erik has a great reputation for striving for excellence and always goes above and beyond for his clients. For example, Erik arrived early to a reception venue before any other vendors and noticed that the electricity at the venue was not working. Erik drove to Home Depot and rented a generator from which the entire wedding venue received electricity for the first half of the event until power was restored a few hours later. He saved that wedding and will go above and beyond at your wedding too.
BUBBLES
Hard at work behind the scenes is Bubbles. He keeps the Greenbelt team on their toes, with an unwavering commitment to providing our clients with the best possible DJ, lighting, photobooth, and videography experiences. When he’s not overseeing the back office, he can often be found napping in a lap. Bubbles’ musical tastes range from gangster rap to Radiohead, with a little Don Ho thrown in for good measure.
