But I always wanted to be a DJ. However, I thought it would be a side project, not my actual career. I’ve been DJing full time for 11 years now. We have hundreds of 5-star reviews about us on The Knot, Wedding Wire, Google, and YELP. Common themes you will read are that we are very flexible; can excel with limited or lots of guidance; and are extremely responsive to phone calls and emails.
We have a real knack for figuring out exactly what our clients envision, but we can also make suggestions for certain aspects, at your request. We’re very organized and spend a significant amount of time preparing for each event. All we need is about 45 minutes of your time the month of your wedding to pick your brain and review your timeline.
All four of us use turntables with the industry-standard Serato DJ software. We use a mixing technique called beat matching during the dance portion so that all dance songs are mixed in a unique and seamless way.
If I am booked or outside your budget, one of our other DJs might be available to DJ your wedding or other event. Aside from being a great DJ, Anthony has a degree in architecture from the University of Texas at Austin and has done more than 500 weddings for us. Erik works full time for Apple Corp., and he’s done more than 350 weddings in the past 7 years. Josh has a UT Austin degree in Radio, TV, & Film. We’re a bunch of Longhorns, but we also do Aggie weddings. 🙂
We approach our DJ jobs with the same ambition to be successful and honest that drove us to get formal educations, and for me, become a teacher and for Anthony, become an architect. In other words, we humbly take our jobs very seriously and do not cut corners; we are very thorough and meticulous in our preparation and presentation for each event; professional from day one; and we spare no expense on quality sound and lighting equipment. We have provided mobile DJ services at more than 1,850 events without missing an event or ever sending a replacement DJ due to illness or any other circumstances. We’re proud to say that missing an event simply is not an option for us. But, we do have a plan in place if, God forbid, something beyond our control prevents us from attending an event.
